Stock items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Buyer Pays Return Shipping
You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

What Can Be Returned
Stock inventory items
Unused, uninstalled items in original packaging may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date. Items must be in the same condition received — not installed, not cut, not altered in any way.
Items that arrived damaged or defective
If your order arrived damaged, defective, or not as described, contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will cover return shipping and send a replacement or issue a full refund at your choice.
Wrong item received
If we shipped the wrong item, contact us within 30 days. We will cover return shipping and send the correct item at no additional charge.
What Cannot Be Returned
Custom rope orders
All custom-cut rope orders are made to your exact specifications and are final sale. We cannot accept returns on cut-to-length rope unless the item arrived defective, damaged, or is the wrong product entirely. If that occurs, contact us and we will make it right.
Installed or used items
Items that have been installed, spliced, rigged, or otherwise used cannot be returned.
Items returned after 30 days
Returns requested more than 30 days after the delivery date will not be accepted, except at our sole discretion.
Items without original packaging
Stock items returned without their original packaging, labels, or hardware may not be accepted or may be subject to a restocking fee at our discretion.
How to Start a Return

Contact us first
Use our contact form at sellsails.boats/contact with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. Do not ship anything before receiving a return authorization.

Receive a return authorization
We will respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions and a return address. Returns sent without authorization may not be accepted.

Ship the item back
Pack the item securely in its original packaging. Ship via a trackable service and retain your tracking number. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or incorrect.

Receive your refund
Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is issued.
Refund Processing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.
Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit to your account. If you have not received your refund after 10 business days, please contact us.
Purchases made via eBay
Orders placed through our eBay store are subject to eBay's Money Back Guarantee in addition to this policy. eBay listings carry a 30-day return window. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility except where eBay's buyer protection applies. Open returns directly through your eBay order.
